Las agencias de viajes y turoperadores (16,4%) junto con el transporte aéreo (12,4%) lideraron el mercado.
Los ingresos de actividades relacionadas con el turismo suponen un 34% del total de la facturación online, según los datos de la Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC), que cifran en 3.185 millones de euros el volumen de negocio del comercio electrónico total a cierre del segundo trimestre de 2013, un 20% más.
Este porcentaje supone un nuevo máximo histórico para un periodo en el que se registraron 45,6 millones de operaciones, lo que representa un 24% más que el año anterior.
En concreto, por actividades, las agencias de viajes y operadores turísticos (16,4%) y el transporte aéreo (12,4%) lideraron el mercado, seguidos del marketing directo (5,5%), el transporte terrestre de viajeros (4,9%), la publicidad (3,1%) y las prendas de vestir (2,8%), juegos de azar y apuestas (2,8%).
Por su parte, los espectáculos artísticos, deportivos y recreativos representaron un 2,6%, Administración pública, impuestos y seguridad social un 2,6% y otro comercio especializado en alimentación un 2,4%.
El comercio de bienes y servicios a través de Internet desde el extranjero con destino a España facturó 551 millones de euros, un 39,7% más respecto al mismo periodo del año anterior, y supone ya un 17,3% del total.
En este caso, el sector turístico supuso más del 60% de los ingresos en las transacciones desde el exterior con España.
Por su parte, el comercio online dentro de España creció un 19,5% y supone el 41,6% del volumen de negocio, con 1.325 millones de euros, mientras que las transacciones con origen en España y dirigidas hacia el exterior facturaron 1.310 millones de euros, con una representación del 41,1% del total y con un aumento interanual del 15,1%.
Déficit comercial de 759 millones
Pese al avance del comercio electrónico en las tiendas online españolas, la balanza comercial sigue siendo negativa, al cerrar el trimestre con un déficit de 759 millones de euros.
Por áreas geográficas, la Unión Europea continuó siendo el destino preferido para comprar por Internet con 1.170 millones de euros y un 89% del total, mientras que Estados Unidos se mantiene como segunda opción con un 4,7% del importe total.

There is so much to do with a huge selection of pools, tennis courts, basketball courts etc. It is right on the edge of the lake and only a 20 walk into Peschiera del Garda town. The on-site facilities are great which include a supermarket, greengrocers, cafe and restaurants, sports bar and ice cream parlour which we used most days. The Terraza restaurant overlooking the lake served excellent pizzas at a good price. There are plenty of facilities for children, with a little funfair which is open in the evenings and entertainment put on for them every night by the main pool area. Peschiera is only a short bus or train ride away from Verona. We travelled there for a day by bus (very busy) but the stop is right outside the Bella Italia entrance, and very reasonably priced. You can buy tickets on the bus but this is generally frowned upon so I would buy beforehand, and we got ours for the on-site Tobacconist. Peschiera del Garda is also only 1.5 hours by train away from Venice. On both visits I have found the trains to be very punctual and reasonably priced, but if you use these don’t forget to validate your ticket before you get on the train, the same goes for the buses. Gardaland and the Sealife Centre were also easily reachable with a free bus from Peschiera del Garda Train Station. We haven't visited Gardaland but did visit the Sealife centre which my son loved. The only thing that disappointed me was that buggies aren't allowed inside so we had to carry our son the whole time. On both trips to Peschiera del Garda my husband and I have hired one of the speed boats for an hour on the lake, I would highly recommend it's the most fun I've ever had! We have also used the ferry to visit some of the towns north of Peschiera del Garda, I would recommend a trip to Lazise, Sirmione and Garda.
